10 Weeks

Last week I went to Target and bought several new shirts and then got online and bought a few things from Old Navy, so after my new clothes come in, I'll probably start taking weekly pictures. But until then, just a boring old update for my memories :-)

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 10 Weeks

Size of baby: 1.5 inches long or the size of a prune (minus the wrinkles :-D)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 1 pound

Maternity Clothes: No maternity clothes yet, but I did buy some looser shirts & found some great steal on maternity pants, so I figured I might as well buy them - waiting for them to come in! 

Gender: ???

Movement: Can’t wait!

Sleep: I sleep all night, but I don’t feel like I’m getting good rest; Abbey has graciously let me sleep a few more hours after Brian leaves. This morning I woke up at 5AM to start my day with some lovely morning sickness.

What I miss: Actually liking food in general, liking vegetables

Cravings: Pretzels, Chocolate Milk

Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, heartburn, exhaustion, irritability, super sensitive to smells

Best Moment this week: Buying new clothes that fit me better! 

Prayer requests & praises:

• The past two days I have had unusually bad morning & evening sickness involving vomiting. I don't do well with this when Brian isn't home, so really just pray that it stops.
• Brian is searching is heart out for a job in the DFW area - please pray that the Lord's will is revealed to us and that we trust His timing is perfect. We really need to make the move by March as our lease is ending here.
• Praise! I haven't been feeling as bored - my sweet friend has been getting me out of the house almost every day. As I'm feeling a little bit better *knock on wood* I'm going to start packing things we don't use (mainly my entire walk-in closet full of teaching supplies) and maybe work on my sewing machine soon!
• Praise! My husband has just blown me away! He started cooking meals which are quite delicious (albeit, there was a minor accident in reading the recipe that I completely emotionally lost it when I saw the mistake) AND while I was away for a little bit on Saturday, he cleaned the ENTIRE house...like EVERY.LITTLE.PIECE of this house! Best gift ever!
