4 Weeks

This week Brynlee Ann:

• Went to church for the first time and only fussed when she needed a diaper change halfway through the service!
• Started enjoying about an hour and a half to two hours of awake time after each feeding before taking a short nap!
• Slept two full nights in her own room only waking up for feedings! 
• Decided she likes to smile at Daddy - Mommy doesn't get nearly as many smiles as Daddy does and she's okay with that because a girl's got to love her Daddy :-)
• Read lots of books with Mommy. Her favorite is Bright & Beautiful read by Granny Nanny!

3 Weeks

This Week Brynlee Ann:

• Had her 2 week check up - she is in the 30th percentile for length & weight! 
• Met and was loved on by lots of the amazing Johnston family! 
• Made her first road trip - San Antonio or bust! 
• Had her first Chick Fil A experience!
• Received a GIANT package in the mail from Granny Nanny with some really cute outfits and fun things!

Brynlee's first trip to Chick Fil A - 8/24/11

2 Weeks

This Week Brynlee Ann:

• Did lots of girly shopping with Granny Nanny & Grandma
• Sneezed like her daddy with a cute little "coo" at the end 
• Posed adorably for her newborn photo session with her Uncle Matt
• Skyped with her Uncle Blaine who is in Korea
• Outgrew her preemie sized pajamas!!

1 Week

I have loved every.single.moment of mommyhood thus far! It is definitely a life experience that words cannot explain. Brynlee Ann has brought both Brian and I so much joy and love.

I want to document our sweet Brynlee Ann's little life and growth, but I'm just not sure I can keep up with blogging often. My goal is blog once a week for the first year of Brynlee Ann's life - thus, 52 Weeks of Brynlee Ann.

This Week Brynlee Ann:

• Spent 2 days in a blue lighted blanket (Blue Light Special, Isle 2!) 
• Met lots of nice people including (but not limited to) Grandma, Granddad, Granny Nanny, Papa John, Uncle Matt, Aunt DiDi, and so many more! 
• Taught her daddy that girls can pee on you
• Visited her daddy at work
• Went to her first restaurant - Ninfa's!
