Before the appointment, I was not really excited about having to drink 32 oz of water in a 15 minute time period and my stomach was hurting from being nervous, so the picture Brian took of us waiting is not going to make an appearance on the blog :-)
When we went into the room, the sweet ultrasound tech introduced herself - Sandi. She was very nice, explained it would take about 30 minutes for her to do the complete exam and then she would turn the screen and we could see the baby. We made it very known that we did not want to find out the gender and she promised not to say anything. As she was doing the exam, Brian was standing, kind of, behind her watching everything she was doing. Every now and then he would make some hand gestures and faces and I was left to decipher what he was saying - it was quite entertaining and kept my mind from worrying when I saw big smiles on his handsome face :-)
Our smiley little one with his/her button nose :-) We watched our sweet little one sucking/talking/smiling for several minutes - I'm in love!
Baby love with his/her adorably long Langhoff legs!
See his/her sweet little foot? Definitely Decker toes with that shorter big toe than the rest!
This one is a little harder to tell - he/she is holding his/her ear - the ultrasound tech was able to show us his/her ear before he/she shot its arm up there :-)
And here is my relief after seeing our adorable precious blessing and being filled with love for him/her!
(I had been laying on that table for like 45 minutes and was practically asleep, hints the puffy eyes)
Thank you for all your prayers and support as we continue down this exciting road! It is becoming more real to us each day, and this ultrasound was just what our sweet hearts needed -- I have caught Brian's giggles :-D
